I run this small business myself and have no prior business experience so I'm learning a lot while I go. What Is Swindon Animation?
Hey! 👋I’m Leah Panigada-Carey
I’ve been a 2D animator for 12+ years now and have worked professionally on many animated TV shows and games.When I moved to Swindon a few years ago, I realised that there were no dedicated spaces, groups or studios for animation.That is why I’ve created Swindon Animation!
Through Artsite, I now have a studio space that I would like to open up to animation-curious locals who would like to try their hand at making their own animated stories.I currently have the capability to teach Stopmotion, 2D digital, Multi-Media and paper cut-out animation.It is important that people get the chance to experiment with animation and bring their creations to life.Animation should be accessible for everyone to try out!

Signal Fest 2025
I had the pleasure of being a part of the Signal Festival and speaking to the young creatives of Swindon who want to get into creative industries!

Paint Fest! Swindon Central Library
On Saturday the 30th of August, I ran an animation workshop in Swindon Central Library! It was a drop in session as part of Swindon Paint Fest! The kids loved making their own characters, stories and animating with the Animated Frames sheets!
Swindon Open Studios
Swindon Open Studios will be happening this September! If you'd like to come have a chat and nosy around the studio, come visit me as a part of the Artsite Studios at 10 Theatre square on the 20th/21st of September 2025.
